Harleen Diaries

A Journey Of Self-Discovery – Uncovering the Story of My Life!

Exploring Life Through My Experiences: My Journey of Adaptation and Growth

I was about 4 years old and living with my mother, grandparents, and my massi (mother’s sisters). Every morning at 7 am, a balloon seller would come to the street outside our home selling helium balloons of all different shapes and colours. My massi would buy one balloon every single morning and carefully tie the string to my Kada (bangle worn by Sikhs) while I slept.

As I opened my eyes every single morning, the first thing I would see was that balloon flying high and touching the ceiling. I woke up with a smile on my face. This small yet beautiful gesture is something that brings tears to my eyes every time I think about it.

But, the more fascinating thing is that I was always able to find beautiful moments like this in my life. No matter where I went, what I did, or whom I met, I ended up feeling joy and bliss everywhere.

I collect memories.

I have been writing about all these joyful incidents of life for many years. Harleen Diaries is the materialisation of the thought that I had in 2019 to share the colours of life with the world. Excited to continue this journey with you all!
